Class Descriptions
All classes are alignment-based & bio-mechanically informed so that they are safe, create consistent growth, and empower students to learn how to move their bodies in the most life-affirming way in class and outside of it. The studio maintains an ambient temp of 74-76 degrees for all classes. SIA Yoga teachers fully instruct all classes so that students are supported through the entire experience.

FOUNDATIONS SERIES
This foundational class series occurs 4 times a year and focuses on the primary alignment principles in yoga as well as foundational yogic practices like meditation & breathwork. The pace is slow and intentional, with plenty of support. Foundations Series is a great choice for either beginners to learn and create a comfort level with their practice, or for ANY level of yoga student to deepen their working knowledge of the physical practice and biomechanics.

SKILL BUILD
This class is suitable for all levels and is highly alignment focused with a progressively sequenced set of poses that allows the student to deepen their physical components of the yoga practice, as well as a class apex that creates space for a clear understanding of whatever the chosen pinnacle pose is. Students in this class will learn, grow, and get to connect together!


SKILL FLOW
This class has a fluid element to it and is accessible to all levels. Modifications are offered to accommodate students individual needs. The aim of the class is to create a sense of easeful freedom and openness within the body & mind, yet maintain skillful alignment in action.
STRONGER
This class is best aligned for students who want to feel stronger! It is highly alignment focused with a progressively sequenced set of poses that allows the student to strengthen their physical components of the yoga practice. Students in this class will have fun, grow, and get to connect together!
INTENSITY: 4/5 (on a scale of 1-5)
DURATION: 45min-60min


FUN FLOW
This class starts with a Skill Flow vibe and then builds up to flowing more freely & uses dynamic “Dance-y” actions to generate a playful vibe and increase the flow of energy in the body. It is designed to be fun, organic, and energetic!
INTENSITY LEVEL: 3/4 (on a scale of 1-5)
Duration: 45min-60min
GENTLE
This class offers gentle, slow, accessible poses that are suitable for to all levels of practice. Ample modifications are offered to accommodate students unique needs. The aim of the class is to create a sense of calm, grounding, and peace in the body through kind, thoughtful, & spacious movements. Accessible to all levels. No yoga experience needed.


EXPAND
This class is best aligned for students with a little previous yoga experience. It is highly alignment focused with a progressively sequenced set of poses that allows the student to deepen their physical components of the yoga practice, as well as a class apex that creates space for a clear understanding of whatever the chosen pinnacle pose is. Students in this class will learn, grow, and get to connect together!
REST
This class is kind of like adult nap time….which, of course, is very much needed! This class uses very relaxing poses with props that are held for 3-7 minutes each in total rest. Let go. Restore your vital energies. Awaken refreshed and renewed!
Accessible to all levels. No yoga experience needed.

YOMAMA
(Coming Jan 2026)
This is a refuge, support system, and educational experience for mama’s! This community-centric yoga class is led by Nicki Teufel, an experienced Yoga Mama who has a huge passion for supporting women in all stages of motherhood! This class does not require previous yoga experience, and is offered as a separate membership or drop-in enrollment from the general public schedule.
YOKIDS
(Resumes Jan 2026)
This is weekly club designed to offer kids ages 7y to 12y a place where wild and vibrant energies are celebrated, and yoga becomes a playground to understand their world, themselves, and how they relate to others! Parents welcomed to join in and partake in the fun, growth, and community!
